Do you guys think I could take the 500 motor and gear box off the Graupner HydroDrive 500 Race and hook up my 700 speed 8.4v motor to the shaft and make that work?

evader, the graupner hydrodrive drive shaft is 4mm, hobby-lobby sells the 5mm to 4 mm connector, so it's very possible, have you changed the bearings to bb in the out drive?? also limit your amount of servo travel as this motor has a tremendous amount of torque, and the universal on the outside is a bit fragile,,, check the threads for the carbon fiber props there was quite a few the guys tried with the 700, and these will come in screw-on type if you don't want to run the 3/16ths adapter,.. let us know how it turns out, cheers eddie

Thanks for the help. Not sure if I'm going to do that or not right now. I'm considering all options at the moment. I am trying to find a Bagshot Force 21 or 22. Can anybody show me pictures of them or a website that they are on? Thanks guys!!!
