Wow. That is going to be a tall order! A 2 mtr hull is big. If you are serious the price will be stiff. Probably somewhere close to 2k for mtr/esc/lipos. If that is outside your budget dont go any further. Even going with low budget stuff, Chi brands, you will end up spending close to 1K just to get 50mph or so. Quality brand motors like Neu or Lehner would be the first choice. Something like a Neu 2230 or a Lehner 3080. Go high voltage no doubt. At least 10S. 12S or even 14S would have awesome torque and you could get away with only one motor. The choice for ESC is got to be a shulze. They have a new HV version but its $700 if memory serves me. 30 to 40C lipos would be best. Around $450 for a quality set of 2 6S packs. Like I said,.... not going to be cheap. There are some better choices that the more experienced folks might add. I dont do hulls that huge. When a RC boat approaches my Seadoo in size I draw the line.

2m hull, electric powered.. WoW! Agreed with John. You can opt for twin drive as well, .. but everything shall be in pair .... i.e motor, esc, etc.
The new biggie from Plettenberg also will work.

It would rock on 2 Neu 1527 2Y motors on 12S. You would probably achieve the speed you desire. But you would now be over 3K when all is said and done. More hardware, speedo and I would definatey go 2P even if the packs where 35C 8000mah. Take a look at the German setups if someone can post a link. I have lost mine. You will see precision and craftsmanship at its finest. And if you look at the blow over videos you might change your mind about going so fast in a big hull. Liken it to going to the dentist and asking for no drugs to numb the pain.
