Just a reminder guys. Racing this weekend. Weeeeeeeeee.

It is a long weekend. If anyone in the area wants to blow in for the day to check it out.....by all means come on out. It's always fun watching grown men act like children. I promise not to throw myself down and kick my feet.......this time! haha

Not a prob. When traveling so far I bring pretty much everything except the big boats. Never know what kind of screwy things can happen. Last year I had to only drive an hour to race and one time forgot my stinkin lipo packs.

Guys,

Have a good time racing. I wish I could make it, but it's just not in the cards. I will see you in June.

Jay you were missed sure hope you can make it to the next race. I think we had 15 guys racing, and a record amount of spectators, almost 2 full flights of LSSH & LSSO. Considering it was a Holiday weekend the race was quite a success!

I had a great day, swept LSSH(my flights) & had some respectable LSSO(my flights) finishes.

The UL 1s are great fun to race against(at least half the field are UL1s) they run so loose at speed!

The led sled got beat by a UL too.

Ken put on a Q sport aerobatic show for us in the last heat of the day.

I could of had a better outting... A couple of mental mistakes really screwed up N2 for me. The UL's are super sensitive to "race" water. There is still alot of work to do on those.

I am interested in everyone's weights for SSH. I think Ken mentioned that his was in the 6 pound range.

Thanks for the lead in Ken, I wasn't go to say a thing, BUT since you did. I would have thought since I talked with a CORE Member, I might have heard something from somebody, But NOT A fricken word.

THE biggest kick in the butt, IS There is silence from the "Tominator", who, can run over dead boats, at any given time and get a DQ, and doesn't give a crap. This is the 3rd time in two years on my boats. He just keeps on walking looking for damage on his boat. Doesn't or can't say Sorry, Really I'm Sorry, Didn't know. Didn't see the BRIGHT RED BOAT, Can I help repair it,. What the hell are his pit crew doing. What's he doing.

Tony was my pit man and he's telling me all the way stay wide dead boat mid back 1:00, I"m wide enough, he tells me stay there and straight, wind hit my bow, upside we go and where is this jerk, all over my new boat 1/3 lap later.

Not even a I'm Sorry ........... Ya I'm a better man, BUT :moon::moon::moon: It is getting old, REAL old. I work all winter and work all summer repairing damage from racing.

Sorry Tominator, would have thought after whipping out my rudder, drive shaft, a gapping 1/4"x 5" out of my outer hull, into the inner hull, and more prop marks than a French Wh**h could leave, your un marked.... or did you bend your lil prop. :mad2:

Grim, I need a new hull, NOW, not later

New game  KEVLAR

I didnt wanna say much but I believe you were pitting for someone that hit a boat in one of the last races. Where were you on that one? Why was your boat upside down? If you cant build a boat that can handle race water then slow it down. I am not on anyone's side until you go after me. I was pitting for him and told him to split the two on the back stretch. Come to find out there were 3 dead back there. I dont appreciate you thinking I should be DQ for that. This is why I dont race my best boats. They get beat up and I plan on it. Someday you will hit someone else Chuck. I know Tom felt bad for the incident as it put both of you out but heck man, thats racing. I hit a boat for the first time last weekend and didnt do much damage at all to either boat but I DID retrieve mine and his and never said sorry cause like I said (why was his upside down?) It sucks it happened but the longer you race the better chance of it happening to me, you, or anyone. I hope we can get over it because I and Tom both travel 3 hours each way to have FUN with you guys and I appreciate everyones help.

Tony and I were a pit crew for each other all day. I really don't think He hit anyone. I pitted for Joe in Q twice, he didn't finish or hit anyone. Might want to talk with someone else on the Buoy #6 dead boat collision.

Why was your boat upside down? If you cant build a boat that can handle race water then slow it down.

It seemed like a lot of problems occurred in that last 50 yards with wind and or whatever on the north end of the course. Retieve boat spent more amps going in that corner than not. If your saying that my boat is not up to racing properly than take that up with Mark Grim. It's a little flighty, but heat three she calmed right down with a air dam placement.

I am not on anyone's side until you go after me. I was pitting for him and told him to split the two on the back stretch. Come to find out there were 3 dead back there.

I'm not after you. You were called out by the CD on that collission not me. All I said in my thread was what the hell were you doing or thinking. I think it was all said when he stated nobody yelled dead boat on the back stretch. Bad decision on splitting between two dead boats within 15 to 20 feet of back stretch shoreline and the third dead boat was his after hitting mine. I think 6 boats started 3 boats finished, but who cares.

I don't need your help with FG. All, I'm stating is it shows no remorse or respect for another racers equipment after an accident. I guess it's the attitude O'well shit happens. Get used to it. that really bothers me. BUT, hey, I can get used to it, and I guess if I hit someone, I'll use your thought process if it occurs. Enough said? !! :moon:

This is not the first time, nor the last time. " Gee Chuck, I'm really sorry, I think I mis-judged that maneuver "

....and what would you have me do? A spanking?

ugh

I've been hit by or run over so many boats I can't count em. Look at Jays LSO Titan. Most of those gashes in the deck are from me. I ripped the lid off Kens Q sport last month. Busted the tail feather off my Whip in the process. It happens. I saw a brand new build of Kens ripped open from stern to nose by a driver error. That one never even made it to the start line.

That back stretch in that heat was a debris field. Nobody should have been running full throttle through there. We pit men could have done a much better job "pitting". If we had, there might have been NO boats floating back there. Did we learn anything? I did. I know I didn't do a good job describing exactly where the boats were at. Two in the straight and a third that was actually in turn 3 but I didn't say that.

Don't do this here.

On second thought we're not going to do this here.
