Hey Guys-In my Namba rulebook, under sport hydro hull specifications, it reads"There are no hull length limitations, unless specified under specific class rules." However,on the website it says a maximum of 27". Is this a new rule or did I get an outdated rulebook? How strict are we in the club racing on the length issue? I would like to compete in N-2 as I aquired another UL-1, but with the correct motor/esc combo. Thanks-Russ M
if it is over 27 no go
the races is the 19th that is the one that got switched i will change it later

Russ, funny you should ask. I just had this conversation last week with someone else. It was our intent from the day the length limits were put on paper for them to apply to all the classes. Larry got a first hand answer on this from NAMBA. The length restrictions come from Section 28, Page 6, 2a. The thought process being that once you determine a boat is in a particular power range that the length restrictions come with the class designation. That truly was the intent. Maybe in the next printing it will get amended so there is no confusion.
So for N2 for instance we're limited to 27".
BTW This is NOT an invitation to anybody to debate the length restrictions yet again. Thank you very much.
