View Full Version : What to use to cover electronics

What should i use to cover all my servos and stuff? My boat came with a cheap plastic thingy. I heard of ballons but i dont think they'll work with my boat. HELP PLEASE!!

serovo's arn't expensive enough to worry about. just put your receiver in a balloon, get your esc water proofed by andy, and thats all you can do but hope that it don't get wet inside your boat.

I canme up with something for your servo's. So truck people use Ca glue to seal the servo as best as you can on the plastic seams and such. I don't think it hepls a lot but you can try.

try some hot glue but the low melt stuff... but you cant totaly seal the servos cuz they got to turn !

Exactly thats why you basically can never seal it water tight so I don't even try.

actually you can waterproof servos.

http://warshipcombat.com/Index.htm click on construction to the far left, then click on waterproofing in the center area. it tells how to waterproof servos, connectors, ect...

Thanks for the great link me and my r/c truck racers will look into doing that not just for boats.
