Fellas -
The Florida High Voltage Club is being re-opened. The NAMBA application will be completed at the next club board meeting. Looks like our first club 'official' event will be the 1st or 2nd weekend of Nov. Every one is welcome.
The Club will be based in Daytona Beach. We hope to sponsor events and join with other Venues for the 2010 racing season. Our season will be Nov thru June.
Enerland /PolyQuest is the clubs main sponsor - we offer them a HUGE thanks.
All of our events will feature Tents, Food/water and power. We have several really great sites. The club board will make a final selection for the coming racing season before October. We are running most Saturdays at a site near Ormond Beach/Holly Hill. This is subject to change.
Club classes will be posted as soon as the NAMBA app is accepted. Basically - the P-Spec classes will be run. SV 27's (stock and Mod), P Spec hydro wont be limited to the UL 1# - so bring your scales, home built's and kit boat, too.
Big thanks to Scott and Jason for all your hard work locating the site and working out the kinks. Specially thanks for being on the club board.
Stand by .....

Holly Hill and Nova. But we are looking for something further south. If you can escape .... we are practicing next Sat. Call me and I'll get you there...or be at my house about 9a...we can ride together.

We might be able to get a series of races going with the east and west coast clubs. Between your club, the wave blasters and the new aquamaniacs we could have a nice little series going.

Fantastic idea! A point series based on a moving venue would be outstanding. 2010 .... here we come. :yeah:

Welcome to RumRunner.
Becare of Cranes Roost Park. Security doesnt like RC boat. The lakes at the Sanford Mall are worse.
We have a small group that meet weekend when the weather is good near Daytona. You are certainly welcome to come out and join us. We are tuning for the march race down with the Wave Blaster. It was a LONGgggggg winter so we all have a lot of dust to shake out
I'll hit you on the pm with my cell and email.

We had a blast too. That was fun!
I'm encouraged with my test of the Vacu-Pickle X. A little bit more work and I think she'll be pretty good.
Can't wait to do it again.
