Looks like another nice one coming up.
So bring your 99% deet spray and your Flyin Fisherman

I am going to be doing some rudder tweeks this time to see
I can improve the hi speed turning performance on the Blue's.
Also a couple more props to try out.
I did finally hit my 50mph goal this past Weds. :yeah:

That rx I was using is a loaner. It's actually the protype for the spektrum marine. I changed the velcro on it. When I did that it ripped off the dp270 epoxy coating. Then the perfect sprits of water in the perfect spot did it in. Doesn't take much on expossed electronics.
The production model of those recievers is MUCH better. Still only water "resistant" but the coating is much tougher. Plus the antena wires are supported against the board better so there's no flopping around like on the prototype. Seems pretty sturdy.
I sure do like the feel of the radio in the hand. More comfortable than my JR. I've been running that JR so long it feels like part of me. The Spektrum felt even better. Shape of the grip or something. We'll see how it does. If I'm convinced I'll share my thoughts with you guys.

Yeah..5pm would be a better start.
Would give an extra hour of running time before the glare
takes over the back straight.

Hitting 50mph is one thing, making the motor last with that setup thru 3 rounds of racing is another. But anyway congrats on your achievement!
