Hey MMEU gang,
I just had a call from John with the Great Lakes Model Boat Club. Most of you know him from earlier this season. GLMBC is planning on giving the Shelby pond a once over this Saturday. Just to make sure the grounds are at least as nice as they were when we got there. Clean up wont take long with that many humans. After the clean up the plan is to shoot the poop and play boats for the afternoon.
John called to invite us out both to lend a hand and to well .......shoot the poop and play some boats. It just makes sense for us to put in the extra effort with the city allowing us the use of the pond and the grounds and the new picnic tables and such. They've been good to us. It just feels right.
Most of the Great Lakes gang has only seen our stuff one boat at a time. It would be cool if we could put a few heats together of LSH and LSO just to show them what we're up to.
