Eric -
Thats a bummer. I had a boat do that some ago. What I did was contact the mfgr and ask them. They had a solution.
What I found is epoxies are formulated differently. So the process which works with one may not work on another. One time I used a hair dryer and heated the materal up just to the point it started to smoke.
Another tip. Casting Resin (Epoxy) is cheaper and easier to use than most finishing resins. Plus - boo-boo's are easier to fix. When I coat a boat with CR, after coating the wood- I apply heat with a paint stripper heat gun. It sets up in minutes rather that hours. Oh! In the event you applu heat like I do, be careful not to overheat AND don't smell the fumes. Otherwise your hair will fall out.
Hope this works out. Are you coming to the April race?

So I tried the epoxy a few more times on a piece of paper and the same problem so I took it to the hobby shop and I got some new stuff it worked fine I guess I got a bad batch I think you do too

there is a problem with epoxy resins. You must use the correct ratio, and make sure the epoxy is not old. Epoxy expires and that will also cause it not to cure correctly.

Also one more thing. do not cast the mold in raining / very humid weather. Also a cause for improper cureing. My suggestion is that you scrap the epoxy mix you used if problems persist as it is probobly expired

Eric - another thought.
I have had expoxy hardner ruined from Humidity. A Florida thing - I think.
How old was your material? Once I lost hardner from air spoilage. The was not tight and in about two weeks I could not use it any longer.

Oh NO! Not the Nemesis Eric!!???
If it is don't heat it too much as there is a fair amount of Cyano used in the lamination process. Heat + Cyanoacrylate = cyanide gas!
