Straws from McDonald's. (Just kidding.)
You didn't say whether it's for a flex or straight shaft.
Flex: 7/32" K&S brass tube, almost any hobby shop, True Value Hardware, and this morning I came across some at Bernie's Rock Shop (lapidary supplies).
Straight: Dave Browns pushrods.

Try this link to Jeff W.'s site

This has all the info and directions for a stuffing tube and drive shaft. And after building one myself I'll say it is the best most cost effective way to do it.

Just take a aluminum tube with bearings on each end, stuff it chuck full with a grease compound such as slick 50 bearing grease. and take your shaft and put it through it. Make sure the bearings are the perfect size so the fit tight in the tube and leave just enough room inside the hole diameter for the shaft. You don't want the shaft to long either for it'll make more resistance because of the grease and stuff.
