Chehalis? Borst park is in centralia next to I-5 across from the country cousin restraunt. I lived there till i was 18. Even knew the kids that blew up a good portion of the river bank next to the lake with a full case of dynamite. :)
You referring to the jet ski world tourny grounds in chehalis?

Not sure. I know that we race at the pond that is in the park and has steps down to the water. You have an advantage on me I live in Tacoma. We have held a couple of special event races in Centralia and the parks department asked us in for the fourth. They are providing the trophies and have been suportive of model boat racing. The pond is too tight for the larger gas classes so we can't have our normal district points races there but it is perfect for nitro tunnels and p spec.

Ya that is Fort Borst Park Centralia. There is another larger lake across from Borst lake on the otherside of !-5 but it is choked with lillypads.
Might come down from oly to check you guys out the 4th then.

That reminds me of an amusing convo i had with a couple distric 8 folks last sat while i was at simpson sheet metal company in tacoma, well, more of a, i kept my mouth shut and just listened, about the over 100 mph hydros you folks are regularly running, i just smiled and nodded, didnt say a thing.

Hmm sure would like to know who they were. As you know we don't have anybody currently racing boats in that speed range in the District 8 series. We have one X hydro that is in the high 60s to low 70mph range when he can keep it together. I know that there are some guys that like to talk especially on the Internet that have never raced. If you see a guy that goes by Hydro Junkie he is one of them. Heck I won the last two open hydro races with the P spec at little over 60mph. Not saying that I was the fastest just scored more points. Hope that wont discourage you from showing up and saying hi. Look me up my wife always makes chocolate chip cookies for the races stop by and have one.

If you are going to stop by with the big boy, that may be what gets me to show up (along with the cookies!!). I would love to have a peak...I have nothing even close, I am just a major model boat geek that has admired your cats from the web pics.
I'll tell you all about my Offshore Mini Mogli that is easily doing 90mph!(JK)
I think its Eric's favorite boat.:rolls:(also JK)
