Hi:
We have been able to reserve a block of rooms for the October Heats, at the hotel which got the best ratings after our race last year. It is the:

It is located just East of Interstate 880 on Mowry, and is very close to the race site. The rooms have either two queen or one king size bed in them (your choice), and we have requested a block of ground floor rooms. The group rate is $69.00 plus tax per night, and is listed under "October Heats". We will also have a meeting room available, and we will have maps and refreshments there on Friday night for those coming of you who are coming in from out of town. We will post hours and other details for it later. Also, you will be able to ship boxes there a few days ahead of the race, for them to hold. Anything that we get in will be in the meeting room on Friday evening. Full information on the hotel may be found at the link above, or you may contact me directly. Please also email me at mstoumen@pacbell.net if you make a reservation there, so that we can track who is coming in and make any last minute local arrangements that may come up, for you.
