Trent,
I only get the sound portion. A decompressor file did or would not download. I'll check for some problem on my end. Thanks anyhow.

It's unfortunately a weird (proprietary) codec from Canon.

My MPEG software doesn't even like it.
My kids WinXP machine with the latest vesion of Microsoft Media Player plays it OK, however on my Win95 machine, the only way I can see it is by forcing the avi to be viewed by my Quicktime player (latest version also).

That is the same thing I get when I use my digital camera with video on. I even got the latest version of Media player. It is a simple AVi but all I get is audio. If all else fails...I could ready the manual...arrrrgg.

FOUND!- The right CODEC

This codec makes the Canon (and others) videos work correctly.

Not too much leave over space in that compartment! Looks faster then 35? Maybe the video speeds it up.

ya, i agree it looks a lot faster. i have a stock boat that goes 30 mph and it seems to go a lot slower than your boat in the movie. oh well, still nice boat!:)

I like to be a little conservative in my estimations :)

when you going to start selling plans? I think your boats are faster than mine which are on 18 cells. Of course, I never seem to get a full run with them on the water.

Plans?

*Hopefully*, this next year or so I'll have some micro kits to offer. But, who knows - I'm so busy with work now, I don't have time to blink.

You can however, order Dave Frank's "Miss Rock" plans and reduce all dimensions to 18", and you'll close to my boat. The sponsons and afterplanes are a bit different, but it still should work well. My website has a link to Dave's plans.

Thanks. Sorry about replying before I read up on it. Just after I posted I went to your site and saw where you said that. I've already ordered my plans too. :) Not sure if I'm going to shrink them or not though. I just mostly want to try my hand at a wood boat. Gotta see if it's all that ya'll say it is. :) Thanks again.
