Not sure if I can help you out here Steve, I'm on the manufacturers end of Hitec, not the retailers end. I wish I could buy it cheap from them and sell the stuff to all my friends and be the big hero. Unfortunatly it doesn't work that way. I had a guy in our club ask me once if I could get some stuff for him. When I told him no, he said "what good are you then anyway" He was probably pretty close to the truth!

My guess is Tower will be the cheapest. Maybe someone else on the board has a good reccomendation.

I don't think you'll be disapointed. Mine has sure done the job for me.

Paul, i really like JR's products, but the hitec offers the most model memory for the money. I looked at the m8 and the r1, but i will never use all the extra features and they are almost $100-200 more than the 3D. I know you can't get obtain new product from Hitec at will Dick, but I figured others have asked and when they found the best deal they gave you feed back on it. Either way, the best price so far is hobbypeople.net @ $179.99 RX/TX, but if you use the sale codes correctly at tower, the price maybe better.

I'm working an Expo for them first weekend in February. I'll ask around and see what I can come up with. Seems like I always hear of someone blowing the radio out for real cheap for a limited time. Last time it was the hobbypeople in Ca.

And yest Paul, I knew that was coming!!!

Oh ya, for all you Hitec 225 servo users out there. A new digital coreless seervo the same size as the 225 is coming out. It should be incredible.
