I've heard a lot from you guys about the 700bb and Neo,
but not a word about the water cooled 920 Ultra.
Are these new or what?
Click on this if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Click on boats-Then go to graupner Ultra marine line on bottom of 2nd page of boats.
You all probably know about these motors but I thought I'd ask.

That is basically the same motor as the Plettenburg 290/20, or 20 series. These are available from Ray Fuller or Chris Fine.

:) Mr Plettenberg himself guaranted they're exactly same quality.
Only chrome finish is exclusively Plett selled ... and so on for the extra choice in windings ...
(You can also tell him directly via the email box on the official Plett site)
Despite its high price, the 920-6 is perfect for hydros but also a great value for correctly setup monos and cats ...
I also use the rotor in a 920-4 can for Airplane and Car machines with success ...

Hi
totally different motors
the 700's are based on a 42mm (diam) x 66mm can which run ferrite and neodymium magnets
These are made for the power tool market and designed to dekiver low coast, long lifetime, durable, torque, moderate efficiency and power
In use they draw low current (25-30amps) and turn approx 21000rpm
The Plett/Ultra is designed to delivered maximum performance.
It is a 36mm can approx 55mm long. Extremely efficient, drawing high current level 50-70amps and turning 2-4k more rpm than the 700's
I hope this clarifies the difference
