Calling Dan Chase and anyone who has a collet

Hey guys,
Dan question for you, what size flex shaft was in that rigger that you sold me b/c the one that was on andy's motor didn't match up after i found out that the one on the motor was to big and i tightened it down and snap the thing in half so i have to find another collet for my motor.
Batteries are all charger and here everything sits and i cna't do anything.
I charged it all up brought it down to my lake gave it a small toss punch the throttle and the boat slammed the water and went rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and no movement the collet was tight enough to spin when out of water but when in water under pressure it had so much slippage i was just able to get it back to shore so i didn't have to wade in freezing water.
so that was the excitement of my day so if anyone has a collet of the size that hopefully dan will see if you would like to sell me plz email me

Just a quick guess would be 5mm to .125 or .130. You should be able to pick up a flex hex at your local hobby shop. What motor is it? 05s are 1/8(.125) and just about everything else is 5mm. If you had the stock graupner setup with Andy's, the drive shaft was probably 4mm. You will probably now need .125. or possibly .150 if it's greater than 12 cells. Hope this helps.

Matt, if you know what a hughey shaft looks like then check that. His shafts are smaller than the Octura and I had one that did the same in the OCtura hex. I even tighten too much think that was the problem and then you end up breaking a titty off the coupler...their are 3 of them and they lamp the cable.

Maybe you just need to get a solid coupler and use a set screw. Many use them and I continue to here no problems.
