I'm the new guy on the block. I got here from a mention on The Ezone. I'm a curent member of Concord Model Engineers (hey Lee) and Diablo Valley Radio Controllers. I live in east county and haven't got a running boat (yet). I'd love to come watch the action this weekend but have previous engagments at a slope plane race near Santa Cruz. I do hope to see these things run in the near future, however. :)
Has anyone heard of a Dumas Short Stuff? I dug it out of cobwebs last week and have been wondering what to put into it. I'm pretty well versed with electric motors so this is the direction I'm looking. My buddy (he gave it to me) had it set up for a pair of S400 motors. Do you think this'll do the trick?
Another friend of mine bought a boat with what looks like an adjustable surface drive on it. Where would one go to find something like this?

Welcome, Greg! We have met before at the fun fly's in Concord as well as online at Ezone in the Pylon forum. I can't tell you much about the Dumas, but bring it on out, were all into massive amp draws, mixing water with electricity and other fun stuff! For the surface drive stuff, give Randy Naylor a call at BBY Racing, 689-3725, his shop is on Sheri circle in Concord. Drop me an email at Danimation@aol.com
