Spuds,
The shipping on this motor is almost $10.00. As I havs said this is like getting a new motor. I will have to stand firm on the price, but I will split the shipping.

Thanks but I'm going to have to pass for now, 155 is just a bit out of my intestinal fortitude, which translates to my wife just would not understand!

If still available, I have a few questions.
1. How old is the motor, how much was it used and is it in good condition?
2. Does it have a torque ring?
3. Does it come with the proper diodes connected?
4. Does it have connectors wired to it, and if so, what kind?
5. Is it a 290/30 series?
6. Do you have cooling coils for it?
Thanks,
Bill

Bill,
This is a motor that is less than a year old. It is a 30 series,6 turn with a torque ring. It has a Deans plug installed without any diodes installed. The motor has brush cooling installed. This motor is in very good condition.

Jack,
It is tempting, but I was hoping that it didn't have a torque ring since I want the higher Kv. Everything else is OK, except the Deans which are easy to change out.

Bill,
Torque rings do come off.

I am not familiar with Pletts. Is the torque ring designed to be removed easily or are you unnaturally forcing something to take it off?

Bill,
The torque ring is held in place by a single set screw. Remove the end bell, remove the set screw, and slide it off. Replace the end bell and you are back in business.

Bill, I'm not sure what they cost, but I would be interested in buying the torque ring off you if you decide to buy the motor.
