Hi everyone
First of all, I'd like to thank the Wollards for providing this marvelous service to all fast electric boat clubs. I'm sure that it will contribute conclusively to the promotion of FE racing and membership for all participating clubs. This is a very welcome communications tool that can't help but be effective.

OK fellow MMM members, let's talk! We no longer have any excuse for not communicating and letting the rest of the FE world know what we're about and up to. :moon:

The above symbol is not particularly relevant, but I just couldn't resist.

Though I have not attended any meetings this off season, I would suggest that you re-evaluate the 3 day format.

Last years race was a clear indicator that 3-5 entrants per class is not enough to justify streching out the event so that everyone can run their "one-in-class" boat. Instead, IMO shorten the event. Change the name...Toronto Nationals...or Toronto Spec Nationals...something refective of the direction of FE in Toronto.

In fact, after looking at the "vintage hydro's" out west again yesterday...It turns my prop building a scale shovel powered by an Astro 25 5T.
Yeah, I know nobody else has one...but I am leanin g in that direction lately, building again for pure recreational enjoyment.

Hope you all have a great late winter/spring I hope to see you this season. Last year I picked golf back up and it was very enjoyable, so I do not anticipate racing much this year...maybe a spec mono every once in a while.

When the Cdn dollar ever gets back up from 62 cents maybe I can afford to play more...til then gents...knock your wallets off!

Doug

you are a photgrapher ...?

you must ahve a stack of wonderful pics or do you not do that when you are racing?

I saw a great pic today. It was one Bill muncie took when he was running 148mph.

Oddly he didnt seem to be kidding around he did when on terra firma. Dang! That photography must be hard!
