circuit board question

Hello,

I am now starting to work with a few schematics and I really dont know anything about it.

Can some of you guys out there reccomend some resources of how to follow schematics, all the symbols, and how to make a circuit board. Point to point circuits dont look good to me right now for the purpose.

Go to Radio Shack and get some of the Forrest Mims books. They are pretty cheap, and go from your level (or lower) up to something rather advanced.

I've been doing electronics a long time (enough to test out of it in college) and I still refer to these books.
