Something not quite right by the numbers-

37" Catamaran Hull
Aveox 1412 1.5y
50 MPH?????

I didn't think that motor was enough for a hull of this size at this speed.... :)

Take Care,
Paul

I don't like the pictures. There's no clear shot of the hull.

Looks like a bittburger to me, but I think 50mph is a little optomistic :)

Lightening and enlarging the pics doesn't reveal any noticeable defects on the hull - but they do show another identical hull in a stand behind the one in the photo.

Joints look ruff. Looks like some Chris Fine equipment. Maybe if someone is interested they could call Chris first and ask if he knew the boat/setup.

50mph is a stretch even setup as a SAW boat.

Good looking, I wonder every time I see "As is", makes me think its a lemon!

I looked again, the joints aren't that bad. I am used to the Hydro&Marine stuff. Joints are barely visible.

I seen that this morning I had the same thoughts 50 is streaching it alittle It is a bittburger with fines turbo trans $500 for the setup is pushing it. the hull is 34 inchs and 149.00 trans is 69 if not mistaken and the motor looks used so who knows how much i don't know about aveoxes hardware didn't look to expensive so total of even if we gave 100 for the motor and 100 for the hardware total of 400.00 ..

Its a PIP fuse , not too bad hulls, fast though if you built it light it should be able to do 45 Mph..... Ebay always adds 20% to the top speed automatically ..................Peet......................

Hi all,

you're right, it's a Bittburger.
Prodigy built one with a lehner and 20 cells, about 75 kph top speed.
With mine I got better results with 12 or 14 cells, no more. But I'm still looking to use more cells and get even more speed !!!

PS : Pete, why don't you show more about your "dead battery" cat here ??? He is really fantastic !!! I'm also member of XtremeRCboats board...
