Would anyone know if they sell a antannae mount for my UL or does everyone use the balsa block as suggested in the rc-hydros assembly manual? Thanks

We sell 2 tpes of antenna tubes and mounts.
One is designed for a transom mount and the other is for top mounting, as in a hatch or deck.
Go to our home page and click the "RC MODELS" button. The antennas are under accesories.
Hope this helps.

Even with the mounts he describes, I still recommend going with the doubler in order to disperse the loads imposed by the antenna.

I am currently investigating an antenna which would eliminate those loads. I have used one in my planes with no problems, and in cars they are working extremely well. Gotta wait for soft water to tell you how the http://www.ecubedrc.com/ "Back Kat" antenna will work in a boat. One thing it does require is to be vertical!
