Hi,

there's such much valuable experience on this world famous forum!

I would really like to see a FAQ which collects some of this information. This will also be very valuable for beginners,
and might also off-load the forum from standard questions.

sIGGE i AGREE, MAYBE THE OPEN FORUM THING COULD BE CHANGED , TO HAVE PEOPLE POST THERE BUILDING TIPS, THIS COULD BE REALLY USEFULL, THERE'S JUST SO MUCH INFORMATION,,,, AND IT WOULD BE NICE TO GO AND RETRIEVE IT IF YOU LOST YOUR HARD COPY,,,, ANYWAY BACK TO THE GRIND STONE, CHEERS ED

I agree! I was thinking the same thing just the other night. It shouldn't be a problem for Donnie, it's not like he has to work or anything!!! ;)

It's really something one or a few of us could do, at least compile the info so Donnie would only need to post it.

The Blade Runner & Villian should be done ASAP, IMHO.

Dan What I was thinking was a place evryone could post their tips Ie Andy KUnz mention that if you printed plans on an Inkjet printer, you can turn it over and put an iron to it and it will transfer the image to wood,,, cool huh,,, you just can't buy that kind of information,,, but i'm sure andy will accept donations lol,,,, but seriously there is a broad knowledge base here, and actually this is a little used site, maybe change it over,,,,, my 2 cents,,,

Thats a great idea, Eddie! They could even have sub catagories like motors, cells, building hulls and even one just for the Blade Runner! :D

I must have missed Andy's idea on the plans and Inkjet printer! That's way to cool! He never ceases to amaze me!

Hey Dan
Actually any image printed on a xerographic copier (normal photo- copier image) as well, should transfer to wood using the iron trick!

ROFL, You got me, Doug! Image Transfer is the name of my company! We started out transfering graphics from thermal wax printers to t-shirts and stuff. I didn't know other prints worked the same way. Hmmmmm.... gears are spinning! :D

Eddie,

Transferring a copy or laser print only requires heat.

Transferring an inkjet requires moisture and heat.

Thx Andy, Dan SEE what I mean.... I know people like to post other stuff, but I think this forum is ill used I hope Donnie would consider changing it to a builders forum, ie avengers fiberglass moulds, connector tips, etc etc,,,, it could be posted in the other forum, and then cut and pasted here for use by the guys,, especially guys like me that can't remember squat..... an
