that would make a really sweet scale boat, e-mail them and see if you could get some scaled down drawings! say that it would be for a school project, people will do anything for you if it is for school! Johnson Controls gave us $4000 to buld a electric racing car!(it was for school!) JCI is like the biggest company in Holland,MI

Yeah, if it's for school it's tax deductable, and then they get all that publicity for free, get to say how good they are with the community, that makes the senators, lobby hard from them, and it goes on and on,,,,, how'd the car turn out,,,,, I saw some guys doing something with solar power etc,,,, looked like some kind of space ship,,,, i think it went like 40 mph though!!!!!

oh yeah the car... it turned out fine, it has front suspension, from one of those mini sprint cars, we had te thing toped out at 65mph!!! no joke!!! but we were drawing over 150 amps and we anded up ruinning 2 deepcell boat batts. ! it has a 4hp brushless motor! and a gear shiting system that i came up with. in top gear, the ratio was .95:1 (overdrive) we could cruze at 40mph and run on the two car batts for over 2hrs (dont know the amp draw under 10!) oh yeah did i mention that i was driving the car when we went 65, i am 6'3" 250lbs! it was scarry, it is only 3 wheeled too, kinda looked like a missle! and i think that JCI gives our schools about 100,000-150,000 per year!

well avenger sounds pretty cool, i think you meant gear shifting system though, I had a 67 nova supersport with a 4 speed that had the other problem haha,,, cheers ed
