they dont come pre-taped, someone would have to do it for him... and you cant just jam a tap in there because it will not be straight at all, plus you will have to drill it out to get the proper size for the threading... it has to be smaller than 4mm, 4mm is the major diameter of the thread, so you also need the minor too... i think that the proper size to drill a M4 thread is... if i remember this right is a #30 drill... thats only .003" over .125, but you need to get it centered... if you dont you will destroy the prop. i think that someone on the board does this... we had a discusion about it erlier too

yes there was a discussion earlier about this..And someone was using a lathe I believe to do the drilling +tapping...Dunno who it was...but more importantly, dunno if anyone has these props and want to part with them...at a reasonable price :-)

I have done this to 1/8 props by hand with a starter tap and it just works for me anyway. I have a Crackerbox that came with a metric 4 MM propshaft so I made a few props fit with a tap.

While I agree it is not the best way to do this it does work if you take your time and do it right. The key is to use a starting tap and just be careful. Go slow.

Cheers,
