Folsom Update: The proposed race, “June Heats” in Folsom is scheduled as a two day event. On Saturday the racing will consists of the typical monthly point classes and on Sunday the races are going to be for classes that are not ran in the point series but are going to be run at the upcoming Nationals. This is the prep race for those who will be running classes in the nats.
Club Classes: Due to time constraints, DMWB has decided to limit the classes to eight. Whatever is the most popular among the members of the following classes has yet to be decided.
1. P-Offshore (2)
2. M-2 Hydro
3. LSH (3)
4. N-2 Mono (2)
5. O Sport Hydro (3)
6. P Sport Hydro (1)
7. P Hydro (2)
8. N-2 Offshore
9. Q-Offshore (2)
10. O Hydro
11. O Mono (1)
12. P Mono (1)
13. N-2 Hydro (2)
April Race: Instead of having the monthly points race at Kaiser Cove, DMWB will be racing at Shadow Cliffs in the month of April. This change is so we can try this site as a possible site of the Nats.
For all the members who were present feel free to help fill in the blanks.
From Dan Chase:
Just two more things,
1) We will have one throw out race for the 2003 season. This way you can either throw out your worst race day if you attend all the races, or when the inevitable family obligation, business trip or the (fill in the blank_____) happens, you can throw out that race. It is mandatory to throw out one race day and you must throw out all the classes for the entire day.
2) The Nats points will not count toward season club points
I think we should try to limit voting for the top 4 classes we want to run, add more if you really have to and plan to run them all season. Feel free to add less if you only plan to run a few classes.
