""The Florida Hydro Shootout 2002" will be held April 27 and 28. Open water will be on Fri. the 26. The race will be held on the Towne Center mall property in Sanford.
Here is a tenative schedule for the classes.

I'm hoping that Chris, Brian, Don or Donnie will jump in here. We usually get a group rate or atleast a common hotel so that everyone is staying in the same place. I just want that info before I make my arrangments.

I think there is a hotel selected... but I'll have to get in contact with Chris about that... When we race in Maitland we usually stay at a certain hotel... give us a day or so and we'll find out...

Hey dude...

No problem at all...

Ok I did hear from chris today... he's still trying to secure our "choice" lake for the weekend... there is a walk-a-thon in the park that weekend and the park officials are trying to decide if both events can happen at the same time (which they can! cuz we did it last year with the Chilli Cookoff)... we should know by first of the week... if everything is cool then chris will finish the hotel arrangements and we'll get everything posted....

also expect a signup page once we get everything secured!!

Yeah...
rite now thats the lake... Chris actually had a "better" lake picked out but they wanted an Outragious amount of money for the lake rental... so chris has decided to try for the Maitland lake again...
We've had a bunch of good races there and its a very nice spot... the chili cookoff was cool... and maybe this year we'll have 5-10,000 walk-a-thon'ers hangin around... an audience is always fun!
