here's more then 10,000 reasons for more support from French Government and those in France who think we are War Mongers, I am not saying all French People, But many Have voiced this opinion publicly in France lately, it's a picture of the graves at Normandy of the 10,943 Americans who died to liberate France, nuff said

Talking with Skip on the trip out, he mentioned that WE PAY RENT to the French Gov't to have that cemetary; for the boys who PAID WITH BLOOD for the French land.

Andy I didn't know that, it is sad, I also heard that some graves There Have been desecrated since the start of the war , but that is a rumor I have heard, I hope it isn't true, .....

As you know I'm French. Ok that's a fact. But don't get us (the froggy's ;) ) wrong. We respectfully thanks all the soldiers and their families that died during WWII. You can't say we have forgotten one of the most important part of our History.

About the war in Irak, a lot of people here don't have the same point of view as you have. Because we don't directly suffered terrorists attacks on 09/11/2001 as you suffered.
I think we had to give more times to UN inspectors to search mass destruction weapons. The reasons for a military offensive on irak was the mass destruction weapons. I don't tell there is no mass destruction weapons In Irak, but if some were found it's not a huge stock.

Once again, USA and France are 2 friendly,allied nations. If we are not aggree with your gouvernment on one point, we're not your ennemy.
I personnaly think it's more a matter of politics. There is always some peoples (call them Peace and Love for ever) that walk thru the streets to cry : NO WAR.
But it's a minority. the biggest part of french guys were (and are not) interested by the war in Irak.

I understand that LOTS of folks wanted to see the weapons inspectors continue....

BUT, there was a big problem, Iraq / Saddam didn't want to cooperate!!! :) He only did JUST enough to keep the inspectors at bay... From what I've read, the weapons inspectors weren't allowed full access to whatever facility they wanted to inspect.

Interestingly enough, more leads were found to WMD during the few weeks of the war than were found during how many months of "inspections"??? To me, that says that the UN weapons inspection process was flawed... When USA walks in with weaponry, suddenly more is revealed regarding WMD. Go figure... hahahaha

Mathieu, I have no ill-will towards you because you're French.... LOL

BTW, anyone ever hear any clarification on what they found buried under fresh concrete at the school? That one kind of went unmentioned.... Hmmmmmm.......

That's true, some people were completetly against war but there was about 60,000 to 100,000. In Frence we are 60,000,000. I can't say it's the most part.

I clearly understood (from the beginning) you're not "against" all french guys.
