Hull ended up top side down and taking in some water.

When I got home I sprayed motor cleaner in it and re-oiled the bearings. The shaft seems harder to turn by hand now.

Is this the end of it?

I have a brand new 700BB Turbo 9.6V laying around luckily.
Is torque or top end more noticeable in the Graupner , as opposed to the Neo 775?

Spray it out with WD 40 and then motor cleaner and let dry out well. Only reason I could see it getting hard to turn would be if it was very hot and then cold water hit it but otherwise spray it out and oil and run it on the bench with 6 cells and see if it gets warm.

Heck...mine have gotten wet more than once and this is all I do. Granted it did not take you 2-3 days to get home from the lake!

Spin it up...either she will go or blow!

Jeff,

I did what you said about 18 hrs. after it happened. It seems normal turning the shaft by hand now.

Thanks,
