i have 82 dollars and i need an old esc that is preferably rc-hydros and i need hadware that will work for a xl cat or a small mono depending on what i decide to build. thanx and if i can get all this in a used boat i will buy it immediatly.

I've got pieces strung from one end of the house to the other. I'll see if I can dig something up for you. I'll bet I have a blem you can have no charge. Just might not get to you until after the Cup.

that sounds good. anything at a low cost is worth waiting for and sincs dad said no rc building till school gets out im waiting a while and driving a outboard tyco with 8 cells and a speed 400. the little thing actually gets onplain its pretty funny to see and id estimate 12 mph or somewhere near that speed. great boat to start for little kids.

You've been patiently trying to find a way to get into this without breaking the bank. No begging for freebies or complaning about how pricey everything is. I've noticed. I'll help you out. Just takes time. That's what Ken and Dennis did for me. Just kept pouring little shots of fuel on my fire until I was raging out of control. We'll have you good and addicted in no time. Hey, it's cheaper than a drug addiction (a little). Not nearly as hard on your family though. LOL

What kind of tools do you have? I could show you how to fill in the blanks with a hack saw and a cordless drill. Plus your local.

Are you going to try to come to Lansing next weekend? Bring your dad too. It's a testosterone fest. Ahr! Ahr! Ahr! The racing is fun to watch.

i have acces to some basic power tools and some very advanced. my uncle is a auto mechanich so i can use like plasma cutters and all sorts of stuff im aafraid to touch

i will try to bring my dad if he lets me come because i have to study for finmals. and the whole price thing, i have been into cars for about 3 years and i just started into plains and boats so i know about the money issues. just got to mow a lot of lawns.

and im not one to beg much, i like to work for what i have. my parents could support me and pay for my car and everything but id rather work for my money so i can be proud of my accomplishments

thanks a lot and i cant wait to see some of these boats perform in person

JT I noticed the same as terry did, that at least you were trying and stated your budget, I thought I'd throw a motor in so you can save your dough for that esc or boat,,, I personally like a straight up style with your head up, (it makes it much harder to have it end up stuck up your buttacamo, LOL)
