im up north in Canada right now skiing at Searchmont it is like a 800ft hill and way way way bigger than anything in Michigan! www.searchmont.com and it is really really cheap cuz of the exchange rate, i just want to know if any one here does anything but boats!:D well i g2g -Jeff

Mount Bohemia, on the Keweenaw peninsula (in Michigan), has 900 ft of vertical.

Not skiing, but been snowboarding since ´87..
Dunno about your nice american resorts, shure as h*** would like to give Whistler a wisit....or 20 though!:)

awsome awsome awsome hill, it is actualy 2 hills in one there is the Whistler and Blackhome about 1mile of vertical, it is a huge hill i was there for 2weeks (skied about 11) but me and my dad only got to about 5/8th of the hill, and it is actualy really cheap too cuz of the $ exchange, cant remember the $ but it was a heck of a deal. and i go to seachmont b/c there are no lines, it is cheap it comes to $28 US (42 CAD)for a full day of skiing 9:30am-10:00pm and it is a lot more fun than Boine(sp). and that hill is kinda far from me!

I was actually supposed to go there this february but got stuck with work.
I heard that´s the best part of the year there... Feb./Mar. Do you know?

hhey avenger..I hear the moguls are awesome at swiss valley..thats kinda close to me but Im sure all the snows gone by now ...which means boating is just around the corner :D

yeah, the spring skiing is the best a Whistler, the snow is soft and light (at the bottom it is like brown sugar tho) im going there on the my spring break april 1! it is so warm the first 1000ft up u can ski in a t-shirt!(still cold tho) and there is allways snow, no bear spots, still a lot of powder too! and i asked my dad the $ he said that it was like $60 for the full day (good deal for the amount of skiing) and i think that they also have Heli skiing too!

I have never been to swiss valley! dont know what it is like! i looked to see where it is and it is only like an hr. from me! cool, i think that all the snow is gon too! -Jeff

I snowboard, and love it. I am a snowboarder, fourwheeler rider/mechanic for buddies, love white water rafting/kayaking, ect...
