I've had this boat for a little over a year, got it in a trade with another forum member. It's currently set up for LSH.
The boat is an incredible runner, but it's currently in need of some work. I tore the boat down for paint, and noticed a couple of things that I wanted to change - and haven't had time to fix the problems. The previous owner had istalled a rough motor mount in it, and though it works, is a bit chunky for my taste and doesn't offer enough support (actually flexes the bottom of the hull when it's running). You can either reenforce what's there, or rip it out all together and start over. Other than that, the hatch has a very small crack in it that will be incredibly easy to fix.
The boat has been partially sanded for paint, but will need a bit more work. Like I said, I just don't have the time.
The boat includes a Graupner 700BB 8.4 with cooling coil, water cooled Jeti electronic speed contol (not sure which model, but works flawlessly on 12 cells), Fine Design hardware, Expert SL320 micro servo, and 5 cell rx pack (N cells). Everything is here that you'll need to make this thing competetive in LSH. Just add your radio, batteries, and charger, and you're good to go.
I'll send pics upon request. Asking $225. Also have a brand-new SS1 I'll throw in for an extra $55. Payment by PayPal only please. - Brendon
** THE BOAT WILL BE SHIPPED UNASSEMBLED ** Hardware has been mounted previously in what seemed to be the optimal locations, you shouldn't need to do any more drilling.
