I had an idea! why not start a magazine just for fast electric r/c boat racers, for racers by racers. Bring together the experts in each field of the sport, from the battery expert to boat builder. The editers will be Stephen Hart and Dan Egleton we have had a lot of people say about time? So its up to you the racer, you tell us what you want in it and we will put it in. We intend to give every racer from every Country an input, not just ideas but reports from around the world. I'm already working on a article!
He (Dan Egleton) asked me if I wanted to write a article how I became a race-champion, and a review of the Dutch Races! So you will probebly here more about this. cool huh?!:D

I think it is a great idea BUT. Many people have other things to do other than FE like work & sleep. While this idea is practicle for the people currently involved. It however would be hard to get into stores. Thus making the only way you can get it is via subscription. Which is ok for us but doesnt let us spread our wings. :(

Will - The issues that you've raised are important ones - we don't intend that it is available in the usual stores, like WH Smith (in the UK, think I've seen in them in the US, maybe just airports...). Which means that the options open to us initially are subscription, at races and modelling festivals, through the fast electric specialists and via advertising in the broader modelling press. But if it helps FE grow, even by a small amount, then it's a good thing.



We appreciate that people have things other than FE in their lives, this is one of the reasons that we chose quarterly - we should be able to get enough interesting articles in 3 months to fill a small magazine - it's not going to be the same size as RCBM, but it's not going to cost as much or have to appeal to such a broad range of people.



And if it doesn't work? Well, we won't find out unless we try :)

Well i must appreciate your dedication. between all things in life you can dedicate so much time, willingly. The is a great sport the coverage we may get from this may only be small. Wheter is helps a little or helps alot it should be worth while. Great attitude from you guys i will do anything i (can) to help you!
