It is a vee hull and goes about 15 mph with a six cell battery. However I forgot to mention It has no motor. However you can get one for about 15 bucks or less at Tower Hobbies. It comes with Two radio shack batteries, two chargers, (one wall unit, one hobbico 900 AC/DC) and A novack explorer 2 esc, radio, and a servo.
Only thin you will need is a motor
: 16.99 for 05 27.99 for Kyosho aqua speed.
Coupler, and Fuse for AC DC charger. All of this will probably not be over $25.

what are u talking about. I bet uv'e never even seen that boat.
It is definatly not a peice of junk. I had it for 8 years and it still runs fine.
Anyway, I would be willing to sell the whole thing to you for about $50-$60 if that sounds reasonable to you. I'm not sure about shipping but it probably isn't to much

I'm guessing that is US price? I'm located in Canada. How much would shipping be? Motor would not be a problem I've got quite a few lying around. Would be a cool boat for the younger kids to play around with when I got my Blade or soon to be twin o/b going.

So what would be a final cost for EVERYTHING (boat, shipping, etc...) and then. I've very interested here.

no email but advise and when i read this whole posting and u say thingy this and thingy that; u need to buy Jay Turners book on boats rc! The rate at which u are going, u will have spent tons of money and if u don't know what they are, they ( components ) are useless and u will have in reality , nothing but components! People will answer u r questions but if u read enough of other people answers to u r questions, they are being polite and under they're breath they would like to tell u to fly a kite which is only normal. Save u r money and buy the book for $20.00 plus shipping and come back next spring and u will have a better understanding of what people are talking about and right now, u don't know apples from oranges and these are plain facts, so get reading!!! I won't bother u again cause i am going to build a functionable lighthouse to attract wild women with red and green lights, LOL LOL LOL!

U say u know this stuff; beg u r pardon; when u say thingy this and thingy that and red light this and etc, u haven't scratched the surface. The individual who said ask a neighborhood person in u r locale to HELP u out meant just that, which means u don't know that much cause u don't understand why and u think u know but u haven't the fogest idea. Now , i am ending this get know where talk and suggest u read before typing and u r waisting good time of RRR Forum and space and let other people who have questions and can find an answer on the forum to there questions, let them get on the forum! Good-bye!

Harry, what sullivanmar is selling, at the price he's selling it, is a fair price for the gear (some $80 for boat RTR, plus batteries, plus Rx / Tx, minus motor, that's a great price to learn with!). I only wish I had learned so cheaply myself. I bought a Kyosho Jet Arrow at LHS prices, and without RRR Forums at my side, I wasted two motors, and inumerable hours worth of time messing with it.

Most of us learned with box-art boats just what we could and couldn't do, and what was needed to be better. I would not begrudge anyone of that experience. It's worth the most when it is cheapest, and this is a good deal in that respect.

Pier57, it's worth more than just the hull. It is a deal if you're new to FE, will help you learn, and in the end, Kyosho boats are pretty hard to destroy. If you have kids, you have a home for this hull down the road, for a long time. I've launched my Kyosho Jet Arrow off of decoy ducks, you can't forget a memory like that... LOL

Take Care,
Paul

I believe what our Friend Harry here is trying so IN-elloquently to say is that the boat is not all that is seems. There are some notable issues with the boat if one does a bit of research. Not to rank on you here sully, but what you are really selling is the lefovers of your first year or so in FE boats. The viper hull is a good starting point for some exipirmentaion, solid, all but indestructable, and the bare hull used sells for $15 to $20 around here. The ESC is in question, since it was the one running while the previous 2 motors "expired". Threre is radio gear, which can always be re-used. BUT the biggest issue here is to advertise it as ARR, or anything close. With the motor coupler missing ($16 parts package), dead motor ($15????) and unknown cond. of props, drive shaft etc, and poss. dead ESC, I would not charactorize this as RTR. Is it worth $60??? Probably, but you have to be willing to put a bit of work into it. Personally, I'd thought about buying it, but that because I've got a viper of the same vintage with a cracked hull and non-original drive shaft, so I could combine the 2 to make a good one, but I'm currently operationg under a "no new toys" executive order from the boss, so,.....
