Here is a materials list for the necessary wood to build the Hydromite.
1/16" Balsa sheet - 3" X 36" - 2 sheets
3/32" Balsa sheet - 3" X 36" - 2 sheets
1/64" Plywood - 12" X 24" - 1 piece
1/32" Plywood - 12" X 24" - 1 piece
You will have a fair bit left over but you have to buy the 12"X24" piece for the lengths over 12"
3/32" Sq. Balsa - 36" - 2 pcs.
3/32" X 1/4" Balsa (hard) - 36" - 2 pcs.
1/4" X 1/4" Balsa - 36" - 1 pc.
3/8" X 1/2" Balsa - 6" (or laminate from 3 X 1/8" X 1/2" )
Note: Balsa is relatively inexpensive. Buy a little more than you need. You are bound to make mistakes and it's handy to build up a box of scrap balsa for your future projects.
Have fun!

Or, buy a lot more than you need. That way your next boat is "free" (at least that's what you tell the wife) ;)
It also makes it easier to match pieces for weight, grain, and strength.
