Hey Charlie,
I'll sell you my Sidewinder. I was going to list it but since your looking and you know how this boat runs I figured I'd give you first shot. It needs paint though, just primered.
Let me know.
Paul.

Take it, Charley. You can't get started with better than that.
I can vouch for both the quality of the build and the price.
If Paul ships it right away, you could race with us Saturday. (We'll loan you some batts if you need them.)

Sounds good to me Paul.. Do you want paypal or money order?
Cool..
Charley
Hello Charley,
A MO would be better, that way I don't get whacked by the PayPal fees.
Drop me an email and I'll give you the address to send too.
You won't be disapointed that's for sure!
BTW: For another 50 bucks I'll toss in a matched 12 cell set of hot 3300's put in place for my exact race setup.
Paul.

Paul,
What prop(s) work for this boat?

I ran an ABC45x55 with my SS1. Took third with it against all the BL monsters. Probably could have turned a 645 though. So 442,642,445,645 ish. I'd be interested to hear what Paul had on there too.

What am I shooting for as far as run time and speed?

Not sure on the speed. I was told that with the 700 8.4 one was GPS'd at 33mph. Mine ran for 4 minutes with HV3000's but I'm not sure how fast I was running.

I guess time is the key here vs. overall speed.. Need to prop accordingly to finish the race..
Thanks,
Charley

Charley,
Our 10 lap races go about 3 min. All of the props mentioned are in the ballpark.
I clocked 33.7 with mine first time in the water.
