Alright, just got the email. Thanks for the update, and I can't wait to get some running time with some feedback. I am lost.
First question, why move from the sanford location?
Let me set up the second one. I recently swapped out my motor on my Wavemaster DolphinII outboard (good deal on ebay), and now the vessel barely gets on plane. Is that because the motor and prop have not been "married"?
I would like to have a couple of props before then, but what type? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, and looking forward to meeting you all in a relaxed forum. I didn't want to poke around during the runs in the spring.
Later,
Donnie

Hey bud,
Glad your gonna make it out!
As for the sanford lake... thats our #2 option... solely because we have to obtain a permit to hold an event there... and I dont want to get a permit for a fun run... it costs too much and is a hastle!
The other site I mentioned in the email is much better for such an event... and is a neet lake to boot! We are trying to get official permission from the owners to run there now. Should know in a few days. A nitro club has been running there for quite some time without permission... but I dont feel rite setting up an event without permission! This lake... if it pans out... could also be our "new" lake... its good enough for even our NATS spot for next year! We shall see though!
I dont know much about the wavemasters... but what motor and prop combo do you have on there now that wont work? Maybe one of us can tell you whats up with it!
Talk to ya soon...

Hey Donnie and Brian, I would like to run something in your Dec. Fun Run. You mentioned 6 cell mono, rigger, and hydro so can you guys help me get hold of a good hydro (I love hydros)? I also need a good motor. Brush ed or less, and I always wanted to know - how do brushless motors and water co exsist? Course then there's the batteries and charger. Help and thanks.

Donnie, I got his "PINK STINK" boat and a ESC. Bought some batteries and a charger. Went by Sunday and saw Chris H. and came away with a mono and motor, a rigger, and a motor for the stink. Also saw his Slo-Mo V and need to talk to you about getting one. The BIG item to me is the big (43 - 48 inch) scale or semi-scale Hydro boats and the classes to run them in. And please leave it open for geared drives and lots of cells in at least one of the classes.

Donnie: Will you have to belong to NAMBA to run on the 6th?

Hey bob,
We'll get started at a decent time... maybe 9:00 or something... nothing too early... and I dont want it to be out of range for those who are driving to get here... what do you guys think??
Thanks!

Hey Donnie, have you decided the location where we will run at?
Also, will there be any electric power?
Thanks, Steve
