Tunnel Update

Lorhing, Well its been awhile, is there any update yet on the new out drive? How is the new hull comming? I know you said its a winter project but I now how I am with a new project. Best of luck on it. :wave:

I have everything but the hull and the outdrive. The hull should arrive Monday and I will start on the outdrive next week. I may run a K&B lower unit as a start. I'll keep you posted.

I just got the hull. It looks rough with the thin gel coat and thin layup, but seems light. I'll assemble everything in a week or so and let you know what the whole package weighs.

Thanks Lohring for the update. Please keep us informed on the project. How is the lower unit in resin progressing? I know its a long way off but give it some thought about the Northwest Model Exposition on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1st, 2004 at the Western Washington Fairgrounds in Puyallop WA. This show is one of the largest on the West coast and very easy to find. We will be there as a club and have a booth. Also Dick Crowe will be there at the Hytec booth. Thanks again for the info. :cool:

Great , we most likely have already seen or met one another at one of the shows already and did not know it . We have been to most of the shows since they began. I didn't show anything for judging until last year and I was quite surprised at how well I did. We have had a booth for the last few years for both clubs" PUGET SOUND FAST ELECTRICS" and " NORTHWEST FAST ELECTRICS". We will most likely be set up on the second floor,window side,southwest corner. Hope to see you there.:)
