1985 7-Eleven (1/10th scale) Pink sponsons
A bit more work and I have two sponsons built up with pink foam and sanded to shape.
I guess it is appropriate that I am using pink foam since this is a girl boat (Miss 7-Eleven), and blue foam would be the correct material for male boats like the Mr. Pringles.
Anyway, the next step is probably to sheet the bottom of the sponsons in 1/32" plywood.
I have done some test fitting of hardware and the center section nicely fits two 5500mah Hyperion batteries side by side. I think that will work just fine.
