An 1/8th Scale Journey

Since no one has posted in a long time, thought I would wake the board up.

Recently I traded my twin apparition that had been sitting on the shelf for a long time for an an 1/8th scale hull. This hull was originally layed up in 2008 by Randy Naylor and is an all carbon fiber boat. As such, it is very light with a ready to run weight of about 12.5 lbs. Unfortunately, the the inner wooden structures had torn loose as had the stuffing tube, the floor was very thin and there was 3 degrees of anhedral in the starboard sponson. I have a goal of completing this project in time for the SOWEGA race in November. And so the journey began......
