Turbine update

Excuse the lack of updates. I am in maintenance mode with taking care of the 96 year old pop unit so things have slowed to a crawl since i have moved in to take care of him.

Some picks of the exhaust, intakes, fuel tanks. Material is SS.

Nope, things are pretty much on hold for the next year or two hopefully. Full time care takes all my time.

After a year and change the private wep machine shop finally finished my parts, i will get the intakes painted and the fuel tanks and exhaust ceramics installed and get the inside of the rig fireproofed. have a nifty mini halon system (3 ounce) from a friend at Raytheon i will install once it gets here.

EDIT. I called once i posted this to get pics and the system isnt halon, its a small aresol type standalone, was news to me, so i need to wait for info on what they described but it seems it replaced the halon, they said it was widely available.

The 96 year old doesnt understand what i am doing, gruffly stating i should be investing this money instead of wasting it on my boats, he just doesnt get it. (Grin)

Got the new programming back for my turbines, thanks to MR. *A* at Boeing for making this happen. Both engines ran too hot with the new second stages and a new fuel curve/ramp was needed, i need to tweak and test some more and send some feedback and get these puppies their new intakes made. Screens are history, to restrictive and gotta go. Will get some picks in the next few months when i have time from elderly care.
