The minimum voltage for the MCU is 5v. It would take a whole new ESC design to do it.

Just a heads up, there's now a 2012 series of ESC's out and fully tested.

The 16s/400 (Great for 10s high power setups)
The 8s/400 (Great for 6s and 8s high power setups)
The 8s/240 (Great for 2s, 4s and 6s high amp setups)

The 8s/240 has been operating in the 300+ amp range at 2-6s and has a built in cap bank. It is also very small using our new water pipe cooling system to allow the ESC to be essentially chopped up into three rails, one for each pole, each with its own aluminum cooling tube.

I bought one of the 16s/200 amp esc's on another forum. New for $150.00 I am having a hard time finding prices for these,but it seems I have paid too much ? Any thoughts. It was a better deal than what I could find in that amp range so I bought it. I am new to electric boats. Any help with figuring out how this thing works would be appreciated..

We're shooting for an < $200 price tag and releasing it by the end of June.

This same manufacturer has been building high performance ESC's for 3D flight for several years. They also produce industrial electronics equipment and have been kind enough to build the above ESC's to our specifications.
