Joerg,

Many Thanks, I won't be there myself but from what I hear we will break a few local records but probably will not come close to any WR's

Event Report Wanted!!

I'm glad you were able to see the UK event ateslacoil! Speaking of this, does anyone have a report from that event? Since you were there you could give us your impression ateslacoil. What kinds of speeds and equipment were used? It doesn't matter if any WRs were set, give us a taste of what happened. Unless of course Marine Modelling Magaine has put a blackout on any reporting, the soul-less cretins!

Sorry to say the event was cancelled due to some problems.

We will hopefully have 2 next year and be a tad more organised.

Oops, I misinterpreted ateslacoil's post and assumed he had seen a record run at the UK SAWs. Well, we'll be anxious to hear about next year.....

i was refering to Joergs 120mph run

i didnt have the correct player to watch it :-( (one of the thousands i guess)

but i did dload Tim running S HYDRO - i must of watched it 100 times - i showed it to all my m8s and they were equally impressed

the sound of that motor screaming away is intoxicating to my ears

i just gotta build me one

200mph or bust !

(can i cheat and use rocket boosters ? can i . can i mummy )

btw theres a new model shop just opened on gloucester road on the same side as nobbies hobbies (which is closing down)but a mile further out of town
