1/8 inch shaft drive dogs?

I dont see any 1/8 shaft drive dogs like the 2 i have on my madisons that have big enough teeth for the 3/16th inch shaft props. I have 2 brass 1/8 inch octura drive dogs, but im worried they will cut throught the carbon props i have. Any suggestions???

Ron

On the left hand bar select Miscellaneous>New Gadgets. I spoke to Al about this a couple of weeks back thinking it was just an adapter to be added to an existing shaft. He tells me though it is a complete assembly.

I believe that you have custom machined aluminum drive dogs on your Madison's which are not commercially available. At first I made my own but it isuch easier to purchase the Octura drive dog for 3/16" shaft with an OD matching yourstrut and then sleeve it down with brass tubing for the 1/8" shaft. Red Locktite or Locktite 603 does a great job of keeping everything together. The only other thing to done then is to dirll and tap the brass tubing for the set screw.
