New 24 inch Sport Boat

I have designed a new hull for O Sport Hydro and LSH. This hull has a longer after plane with short runners on the ride pad. this boat was designed to be the Blue Blaster But I did not want to run a wing so the first test boat was stickered in the Oh Boy Oberto theam. It is not scale Oberto. The first runs were promising and I look for this boat to be a winner.

At the pond

With a digital camera it is hard to catch a fast boat so this one is a snails pace

Top secret? well...... not realy but the best ever for the new motors. It is longer in the rear , a built in deflector in the front. The way it rides on the water is like my S-6 but look better

Very Busy Boat Designer and Builder

Randy
Another great boat...how do you do it?! Recently you have designed and built the SC26, OM 26, 6 cell ABS rigger, 12 cell ABS rigger and now a 24" pickle fork hydro. I have probably missed a few boats as well. All have been very sharp looking and getting great reviews.
Just recently, the post about the restoration of the '82 Atlas Van Lines hydro has caused me to look around to see if there was a kit of this hydro....Voila BBY comes out with a 24" pickle fork modeled on the Atlas Van lines boat. Great Work, again, not sure how you can get all this done....maybe you don't sleep!

Cheers RvE

Hello Randy,

Nice looking boat. I like the way you made the hatch, maybe you could carry that idea (one piece cowl) to the rest of your boats. I also notice your running your motor a little farther forward than normal. ;-)

Paul.

You missed the Hooters Tunnel, Bardahl shovel and a new 24 Phantom Mono. But thank you! I work hard and lots of hours. But I started a lot of this work two years ago.

I work there! If Randy likes one of my ideas it makes it into the final product, such as the tail on the OM26.
