The flood chamber is not a hole, but glad you asked. The secret is to drill a 1 1/4" hole and use the canister that you get 35mm film in. only 1 1/2 " deep no leakage. After glassing over and trimming I'll put the cross bar in.

Gale IV
After comparing dimension's The Gale IV is now going to be the GALE V Version III built for the 1958 Season after the Gale V Version II was scrapped in 1957. This hull ran the circuit from 1958 thru 1964.
Reason: hull length; Gale IV was 29 ft and the Gale V v-III was 30.6"
I intend to run this boat with no engine cowling as she did in most races in Detroit

10th Scale Gale IV Build
